Toward turned into "toe-urrrd", futile is pronounced "feudal", and horror is "harrrrr". Some words sound really strange to my (admittedly British) ears. He sounds like a deep grainy-voiced voiced TV ad presenter selling cowboy liquor. Not sure what that's about, unless it's one of the authors who is dying of old age? The narrator's exaggerated American accent is sometimes very distracting. Each book is introduced and appended by an ancient dude who sounds like a 100 year old emphysema patient.
